About Living Beyond Breast CancerLiving Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) is a national nonprofit education and support organization serving women and families. LBBC's mission is to empower all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life. LBBC's programs and services assist women at all stages of diagnosis and treatment, whether they are newly diagnosed, have recently completed treatment, are years beyond or are living with advanced (metastatic) disease. Calling on the world's foremost healthcare professionals, LBBC addresses women's medical, psychosocial, emotional, legal and financial concerns and offers all services at low or no cost. LBBC's services include a toll-free Survivors' Helpline at 888-753-5222, a website at www.lbbc.org, conferences, teleconferences, the free quarterly newsletter Insight, publications for African-American and Latina women, recordings, networking programs, healthcare-provider trainings and the Paula A. Seidman Library and Resource Center. Because some people have unique needs, LBBC offers specialized resources for the newly diagnosed, young women, women with advanced breast cancer and medically underserved groups. LBBC also offers services for caregivers and healthcare providers to help them better meet the needs of women affected by breast cancer. Whatever a woman's circumstances, LBBC is there for them and their loved ones. For more information, visit www.lbbc.org.
