Fighting histamine release may sound noble, but in this case, it’s much better to flee than to fight. Breathing in just a few molecules of an allergen can trigger an almost unstoppable process known as the “allergic cascade.” It may sound pretty but it’s not. It starts when you breathe in an allergen and ends with you feeling miserable.

The first step to an avoidance strategy is to accurately identify exactly what allergens set off your cascade. Then you can develop a plan.
