Should you grab your tennis racket or lace up your running shoes? When there are allergens in the air, you have to pick your exercises carefully. Continuous exercises (long-distance running, soccer) tend to trigger more allergy symptoms than stop-and-go activities (swimming, tennis, basketball). And don't just pick your activity carefully. Other important factors that should always be carefully considered include weather, time of day and location. And, of course, always check your local pollen count before heading outside for any activity.
