Am I Eating Dinner Too Late?By: Question :
How late is too late to eat dinner? Does it really affect your weight the later you eat? Answer : I don't believe that there is one cut-off time for dinner. Most of the time when you hear things like "no eating after 7pm," it's designed to cut down on late-night snacking. Eating dinner late does pose problems: If there's a lot of time between lunch and dinner we might find ourselves snacking too much or tending to overeat at supper. I encourage people to eat the majority of their calories when they are the most active. If you're very active in the evening, then eating a late, larger dinner might make sense. For me, I'm busiest and most physically active in the morning and afternoon. Breakfast and lunch are my big meals, and I tend to eat a lighter dinner. Instead of getting hung up on the time you eat, look at the rest of your day and your meals. Get more answers from the Losing It for Good experts.
