Catheter Tests & Procedures Center

Catheter procedures and tests use a catheter that fed into an artery of the heart to take measurements, tissue samples or to perform a coronary angiogram. Catheter based procedures may also be performed, including balloon angioplasty, stenting or atherectomy. A hemostatic device may be used to close the opening in the body after the catheter is removed.
