Signs and symptoms of cervical dysplasia

Cervical dysplasia often produces no symptoms. Occasional signs and symptoms may include:

  • Genital warts
  • Abnormal bleeding
  • Bleeding or spotting after sexual intercourse
  • Vaginal discharge
  • Lower back pain

However, it is important to note that these symptoms are not unique to cervical dysplasia and can indicate a variety of different problems. Patients experiencing these symptoms should consult a physician, preferably a gynecologist.
