Symptoms of corticosteroid overdose

Symptoms of overdose can be similar to the medication’s side effects, but are usually more severe. Patients exhibiting any of these symptoms should contact their physician immediately:

  • Acne
  • Blurred vision
  • Bone fractures
  • Excessive hair growth (females)
  • Fullness in the face, neck or trunk
  • High blood pressure
  • Impotence (males)
  • Increased urination or thirst
  • Menstrual changes
  • White patches in throat
