Pasta & Weight Loss

By:
David Kirsch

Question :

Can I lose weight without giving up pasta? --bienvenido

Answer :

There are plenty of Italians in Italy that eat pasta all of the time and have no weight issues, but I don't advocate eating pasta if you want to lose weight. To lose unwanted bloat and fat, you should avoid processed starchy carbohydrates. Processed carbohydrates make you retain water and cause bloat. If you really have to have pasta, make sure to avoid the creamy, oily, excessively fatty sauces and toppings.
