Easy Ways to Donate to Breast Cancer Causes

By: Katherine Solem

Donating is a quick and easy way for you to help in the fight against breast cancer without having to get too involved. Whether you like exercising or shopping, or just want to give money, we've got no-fuss ways to help you give.

On your marks, get set, donate!

Do you want to help find a cure and get in shape at the same time? It might sound impossible, but by participating in a charity walk/run, you're practically doing just that. And no red cape required. All you need are your sneakers and a water bottle and you're ready to hit the road in these fun fund-raising events.

Some of these events also offer a great opportunity for you to challenge yourself physically. So grab a couple of girlfriends and get out there! And if you don't want to run or walk, you can always volunteer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive walk taking place in more than 100 cities throughout the country. The walk is typically 3.1 miles (5K) or 5 miles in length. Learn more about Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and find an event near you. Find other fund-raising events in your area through at the American Cancer Society.
