Biography:

Dr. Gary Pepper is a board-certified physician of both internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism. He is currently a partner at the Palm Beach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists in Palm Beach, FL, and is director of the Diabetes Education Program. He is also director of the Web site metabolism.com. Dr. Pepper has previously served in a range of positions including Chief of the Section of Endocrinology in Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL, and as Director of the Diabetes Treatment Center at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. He graduated from Columbia College in New York in 1972 and attended medical school at Tufts School of Medicine in Boston. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York, and performed his Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center in New York. Dr. Pepper has served as Chairman for both the Institutional Review Board at the Brooklyn Hospital Center and the In-patient Quality Assurance Committee. He is currently a reviewer for two peer-review journals, Psychiatry Research and Western Journal of Medicine. Dr. Pepper has received a number of grants for endocrine-related studies and has been published more than 15 times in medical journals.
