Getting OrganizedHave you ever lost your keys or important papers? It happens to all
of us. If you find yourself in these situations, a little
organization may help.
Organization takes time and space. Organizing your home, car and office can be done in a few simple steps. It may take time, but in the long run, it’s worth it. Begin with your home. When you walk into your house, do you have a stand or a key rack on the wall near the door? People lose track of their keys more than any other household item. Simply placing a key rack or a glass dish on a table close to your front door can provide a place for keys. The kitchen In the kitchen, line drawers with miniature, assorted-size plastic office supply baskets. For "junk drawers," separate push pins, paper clips, loose change, pencils and other items. The baskets will help keep small items neatly organized. Use the same concept for kitchen utensils and other gadgets. The baskets are excellent for separating spatulas, spoons and baking items. The drawer under the oven is a handy place to store cupcake pans, baking sheets and other kitchen items that are long or oddly shaped. Under the kitchen sink, keep bare necessities, one up-to-date phonebook, a flashlight with batteries and dishwashing soap. Small plastic grocery bags are great for lining bathroom wastebaskets, although how to securely store these bags may be a problem. You may try fitting the bags in one large, sturdy shopping bag from a department store. This large bag can then be neatly stored under the kitchen sink. page 1 of 5 | Next Page
