Heart Signs & Symptoms Center

Signs and symptoms of heart conditions are varied. Chest pain is a common heart symptom and may indicate angina, cardiac syndrome X or another condition. Dizziness, syncope (fainting), palpitations, edema and shortness of breath also may indicate heart conditions. Other signs and symptoms include enlarged heart, left ventricular hypertrophy and heart murmur.
