Imaging Tests Center

Imaging tests produce pictures of internal body organs, tissues, structures and pathways. They may be produced using low doses of radiation (x-ray, CAT scan), magnetic fields (MRI), sound waves (ultrasound) or other techniques. Some imaging tests involve the use of a contrast medium or radioactive material to better highlight internal structures.
