Is Pasta a Bad Food?

But if you're Mrs. Jones-average-reader, and you've got a weight problem you're trying to do something about, then instead of passing the pasta, pass on it.

In other words, if you're training for a triathlon, pasta's a great food. If you're trying to lose weight, forget about it.

The next time someone offers you a plate of steaming penne with clam sauce, just say "no thanks, I'm allergic to things that make me fat." If they try to tell you how healthy pasta is for you, repeat the story I just told you.
