Journal Exercise: My Personal Stress BarometersBy: Debora Orrick Each of us manifests stress in our own physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual ways. Our bodies, moods, energy levels, sleep and appetite are all barometers of our level of stress and how well we are handling the stress in our lives. Get familiar with your personal symptoms (one of mine is a hard-to-resist urge to go shopping -- really!), because the symptoms carry important messages for you. They are your internal alarm system telling you to take better care of yourself. In your journal this week, make notes about the ways in which you respond to stress.
