Biography:

Since retiring from private practice in 2002, Dr. Martin Liebling has worked as an independent private medical consultant. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Miami and his M.D. from the Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis, Missouri) in 1955. He joined the faculty at Duke University Medical Center, becoming chief resident in 1960. When he returned to Miami in 1963, Dr. Liebling was the first board-certified oncologist/hematologist in south Miami-Dade County.

Dr. Liebling has held numerous medical school appointments, including clinical professor, medical oncology and medicine, at the University of Miami in 1980, a position he held until retirement.
