H1N1With the start of the school year, the threat of the new H1N1, or swine flu, is far from over. But what about regular flu? Even with all the attention focused on swine flu, seasonal flu hasn’t gone away either, so you may be wondering if you still need to get the seasonal flu vaccine if you protect yourself against H1N1.

The short answer? The H1N1 vaccine is not intended to replace the seasonal flu vaccine, so yes, you may need to get both if you fall into an at-risk category for both. Here’s what you need to know to arm yourself against this year’s flu season.
